Ban the Catholic Church

Not "in the name of God" they haven't.

Man, you have so many contradictions going on for it to be laughable.

"in the name of communism" has been a far more brutal and destructive force in the taking of human lives.

Those women have been conditioned to think in such a way after being treated like s**t and as 'half the person that a man is' for their whole life. Raise them in a modern, equal society and they wouldn't want to wear it.

It's quite easy to say you wear it by choice when you know you'll be raped/killed if you don't wear it or actively speak out against it.
Wow. Are you advocating that you spoken to each and every Muslim woman in Australia and understand the reasons they wear burqa's better than they do?

How about focusing on making sure these children know they can speak to someone about this, and making the Church less secretive, rather than banning the lot.
How about ditto for Burqa's??

Oh, and one more thing, out of Christianity and Islam, the followers of one rape, molest and abuse children a lot more than those who follow the other, and I give you a hint, it's not Christianity.
In Australia? Link? Or are you making things up as you go?

Pls keep your bigoted, racist views off this board unless you're willing to be unbiased and treating all religions equally, thanks.
Ditto. Ban the burqa due to the minority oppression of woman and ban Catholic Church for the minority oppression of children, or, alternatively, leave the burqa alone and prosecute criminals who oppress woman and leave the Church alone and prosecute criminals who oppress children. Unless you're a racist bigot, you can't have different reactions for different religions.

As for being a responsible citizen. I give money to my pastor, should that be taxed?
Yes - personal income.

If he has expenses in delivering a service, they are deducted.

Anything left over, tax it.

Wow, the right winged Christian kiddie fiddler apologists have stooped to new levels in this thread. Typical of right wing posters like dardy to bring up Islam in an attempt to shut down debate when such horrors committed by Christians are in discussion. Disgusting.

There's nothing wrong with precedent. Especially when fools like Jiska ignore all the atrocities of most deadly and evil religion in the world.

Easy. You're saying the billions of people who have been part of it are all evil.

There is no Church without the people. And as far as human destruction goes there's a fair few organisations that have done far worse than they have.
There's no anything without the people.

Which organisations?

I don't like it when they say I'm barred up and God says Give while it hurts for Him.

Sounds more like what you've experienced in your family unit with such insightful inside knowledge. If the statistics are correct.

The world? I thought we were talking about Australia. In fact, I'm quite certain that was mentioned in the OP.

There are more documented cases of child abuse in Australia by Catholic Priests than there are of women who are proven to be forced to wear burqas by way of oppression.

That's just factual. Sorry if it doesn't agree with your argument.

Unless, of course, we assume that you're unsubstantiated claims that you've spoken to every woman in Australia and they've stated that they wearing a burqa because they are forced to do so.

Communist Parties, National Socialist Parties, Monarchies, Governments etc etc
Do any of those organisations individually add up to the many millions of Bogomils, Cathars, Marranos, Hussites, Hugenots and Bohemian Protestants put to death by Catholic belligerence?

Governments/monarchies? The Catholic Church was part of the state structure in Europe for over a thousand years. They are the very thing your supposed libertarianism would oppose.

Nice strawman there.

How many detailed studies are there into burqa wearing oppression?

Probably not many as it's not considered a big enough problem to require a royal commission in to it.

Although, if we are to believe DardySingh360 we don't really need a study, because he knows every burqa wearing women's story intimately.
