The two states face off again, both with new captains this time around with Siddle and Marsh being called up to the Australian side. WA will have a much stronger attack this time with Coulter-Nile and Behrendorff back in. Cartwright (inj), Harris and Moody (a bit unluckily) also make way for WA.

Paceman Nathan Coulter-Nile has been suspended for dissent and will not be able to spearhead the West Australian attack in the Sheffield Shield match against Victoria starting at the WACA Ground on Friday.





The aspiring Australian quick was banned for one shield match after being found guilty of dissent in this week’s Future’s League match.





But he has appealed against the finding and will discover his fate on Friday morning.





David Moody is on standby for Coulter-Nile should the appeal to Cricket Australia fail.

Not happy with that...flying over today, while the Vics are batting, and joining in tomorrow would be fine. Playing half a game with Tremain and half a game with Patto seems outside the spirit of the game. You don't get to replace injured players (as we found out last week).
