Just 3 negatives from that half for me:

1: Kuyt's first touch
2: Babel and N'gogs lack of service (long punts upfield dont count)
3: Skrtel and Koncheskis ball distribution

Did not expect to be 2-0 up at half time but we must not fade in the second half like we have been this season. Another goal will kill it as Villa are already playing poorly.

What I am liking is the pressure we're putting on Villa players further up the field than normal. Even after scoring the second goal, we haven't sat back like we so often do. Admittedly some of the sting went out of our attacking play once we went 2-0 up but defensively it's a lot more proactive.

Meireles pulling the strings in midfield, very Xabi-like. Babel playing very well, as well as his combination with Ngog he's chasing down loose balls and harrying the Villa defenders.

Haha i knew you wouldn't like that comment, but it's not as much as that i love Cole and think he's been a gem, it's more of i want to see him do well for us as we haven't seen him offer anything at all for us, and all the hype he had in pre-season.

Maxi actually isn't in bad form him self, lets just hope he doesn't get one on one with the keeper.

He doesn't stuff it up as much as Kuyt and his touch is usually accurate but he isn't too involved.
