Game day : Fremantle v Saints

Im starting a negatives thread after the game Roast/Whine away in that - may as well keep it self-contained

A bit said about how Lyon will know how to take on the Saints star players, but what most have failed to mention is that the Saints' senior players will have a very good idea of what Ross likes to do too and would be more knowledgeable on how to disrupt it. Players like Dal Santo, Montagna, Hayes ... they are very smart footballers and they'll work us out as much as we might be able to do to them.

That aside, I wasn't particularly confident earlier in the week and not much has moved me. Saints have a very good core of players and they'll lift for this one and I still don't think we're clinical and disciplined enough to win this sort of game. Hope we're in with a shot though, hate to have a blow out.

Just had a look at TAB and freo by 1-39 was paying something like $3.60!!!

If we do get up its deffinatly not gonna be by more than that so affectivly $3.60 head to head.... very tempting

I don't care for Freo much tbh (it's okay I'm sure the feeling is mutual), but I care for the Saints much less. I hope you guys smash them tonight!

What are peoples thoughts on who should be the sub.

I was thinking Mundy for one more week while he is building match fitness or Suban as he hasn't had much of an impact this season.

I think Fyfe will play as he trained well the other day.

Lyon did say that, I forgot when posting.

I agree and hope Neale is sub unless he and Ballas can work in tandom mid and FL bursting packs and crumbing off our forwards.

It's games like these that we'll need to learn to win if we want to be a serious contender. If we can give a good account of ourselves for all 4 quarters of football I'll be happy.

Just deliver a great game Freo. Leaving work early to get the carton before settling in for the FoxFooty HD broadcast (man I am SO happy FoxFooty is backl!)

With all the sub-plots, really glad this game is on Friday Night Footy. Cameras are rolling so any off the ball incidents (eg. Fyfe, Ballas targeting) will be dropping by the MRP on Monday instead of being 'missed'.

I like your match-up's for Fisher & Goddard but I'd prefer sending Mzungu to Dal Santo to do a similar sort of job he did on Ablett last year.

Works for me. Will be interesting to see how far the guesses are off from what actually happens tonight.
