Fyfe just said they decided to give his shoulder another week to recover. Not out for the season.

Bummed too, but I'd imagine they gave it the last possible minute to :

• Make sure every avenue is explored re: risk of playing a player of Fyfe's caliber
• Keep STK working on their gameplan

I'd say with the information the club has, they think the intensity of this match is not in the best interests of Fyfe. That doesn't mean he goes in for surgery this week, just that the shoulder should have a week off before the rigours of the game. Hell we do have Carlton next Friday Night...

I hope we bite the bullet with fyfe and he has the op now.

Well elsewhere i said i wanted Anthony in as a late change, so we could have 2 permanent tall forwards and at times 3 with a ruckman resting down there.
Just was hoping the late change wouldnt be a player like Fyfe
