Ok so, pre-empting here. Was my birthday yesterday and a girl from my primary school who I'm not sure I've really ever talked to sent me a happy birthday message. The usual I though, shrugged and said thanks. But she kept going, kept talking, and was clearly interested, plenty of "It is your birthday, so Ill give you anything you want" type stuff.
