I've been all over Jonathon Marsh (WA) for a while now. 194cm athletic KPF. Smallish Buddy.
Fun fact: He is the grandson of East Fremantle and South Fremantle's Ray Sorrell, who is a dual Sandover and Simpson medalist in the WAFL. Football's in his veins.

Is that accurate Essee? Have the official measurements at the combine been done?
Sydney cleverly generating another 'legitimate' loophole IMO.
Sydney just have him play for X years, back end load the deal as needed, include the "major injury insurance" (Buddy gets paid out if he "breaks down" to quote Swans boss) then (this being the unwritten gentlemen's agreement part) Buddy 'retires' at a mutually acceptable time then signs on as an AC and highly visible club marketing person on coin that doesn't come out of the Cap. Cap dollars go back in the bucket, Buddy gets the coin he wants (as opposed to the headline number), Buddy gets to be where he wants to be, gets an after-footy career, and the Hawks can't possibly match the headline offer.
Sydney offer lot more than Buddy's bottom line, never end up paying it, which makes it impossible for Hawthorn to match the deal.

10.21 Lump Sum Payments on Termination of Contracts
Unless otherwise determined by the Investigations Manager, all lump sum payments to a Player on termination of his Contract of Service shall be deemed to be Football Payments to the Player in the year in which such contract was terminated.
The league will investigate a potential $4 million-plus payout to Franklin that could be included in a single year if the 26-year-old is delisted or walks away after only five seasons.
The AFL will be prepared to save Sydney from itself by blocking the deal or ensuring the Swans significantly alter it.
The AFL confirmed it would investigate the deal, interviewing key Sydney officials to ensure they understand the ramifications if the deal backfires.
“As part of the review process by the AFL’s Legal, Integrity and Compliance Depart-ment, key people involved in the proposed Franklin arrangement — at this stage a non-binding offer of a nine-year deal — will be interviewed in the coming days,’’ the league said in a statement
....
Brisbane captain Michael Voss was paid $1 million in the 2007 salary cap under the final year of a back-ended deal despite being retired, a situation the league does not want multiplied over three or four years
But the expectation is that Sydney’s extraordinary offer for Franklin, a year after the $900,000 a year Kurt Tippett coup, will see the allowance phased out.
That could happen over as many as three seasons, but the league is expected to respond to the competition-wide outrage over its use by Sydney.
Under AFL rules, if a player is delisted or retires early all of their salary must be included in a single year of the club’s salary cap.
The only way around that rule is to keep a player on the list despite them not playing, spreading the money out over several years.
Franklin’s deal is believed to be short of $1 million a season for the first two years, with a huge spike in years 3-8, before a drop-off in the final year.
So if he played until 31, then retired, Sydney could be forced into paying four seasons worth of a deal in one year of their cap.
It would effectively mean they could not field a list given the salary cap commitments to Franklin, which is why the AFL is so determined to scrutinise the deal.
Sydney is determined to blow rivals including Greater Western Sydney out of the water with the nine-year deal.
But the league could eventually tell them to reduce the length of the deal or even out the payments over the term of the deal before it gives it the all-clear.

Mumford just bailed on Sydney and is likely to go to GWS.
Damn it.
Not being a dick, but an actual question. With Hill being the main man to be tagged at Freo, does Fyfe get tagged often enough?
.

Damn it.
No because he is one of the worst uses of the football in the competition.
16.5% of his disposals are clangers. Lead the laegue by a fair margin with 92 c,langers for the year
Mitch Robinson 12.4% of his disposals are clangers just to put it into perspective.
nek minnit Sydney trade Mummy + pick 16ish to GWS for pick 1 (Boyd).

His brother plays at Sydney.
Also he wishes he wasn't tall - would rather be a midfielder than a forward.

if marsh is at 194cm then he will attract big attention. could have been an error of speech though until we see other sources. supposedly not that great an overhead marker but not terrible. with his speed if you can find space you dont need to be a great mark anyway. though , to put marsh's 2nd best sprint time in context the number 1 ever is joel wilkinson. the guy who just got delisted from gc.
Rucci reckons the 3 power forwards to come up for trade are Jesse White Leigh Casbolt and Scott Gumbleton, but he reckons Port aren't interested in them.
Rowey then reckons
Josh Hall 197cms from Gold Coast and Hinkley is interested
