Bryce Gibbs really? 1 good game and he's straight into the team?.
Gibbs the only one I'd take out and put Dal Santo or Sloane in that spot. The rest of your side is pretty good.

He's had a number of excellent games this year. Has played really well on the outside. Sloane is more of a rover and although Nicky Dal has been good, I rate Gibbs' season slightly better.

My current 50 man squad:

Adelaide: Dangerfield, B. Smith, Talia
Brisbane: Rockliff
Carlton: Simpson
Collingwood: Beams, Pendlebury, Swan, Elliott
Essendon: Hooker, Heppell, Hibberd
Fremantle: Sandilands, Fyfe, Mundy, M. Johnson
Geelong: Bartel, J. Selwood, Hawkins, S. Johnson
Gold Coast: Ablett, Prestia, D.Swallow
Greater Western Sydney: Ward, Cameron
Hawthorn: Roughhead, Breust, Burgoyne
Melbourne: Jones
North Melbourne: Harvey, Cunnington, Goldstein
Port Adelaide: Boak, Wingard, Schulz, Gray, Ebert
Richmond: Martin
St. Kilda: N. Riewoldt
Sydney: Parker, N. Smith, McVeigh, Richards, Kennedy

Added these 2 in bold and removed the ones in italics.

From Freo I'd say Sandilands will be a lock for the Ruck.

Other players could be Mcpharlin, he's had another big year down back. Taking the number 1 key forward each week, I don't think he's had many goals kicked on him. Anybody have a stat on the goals against him?

Only others would be M.Johnson, he's been solid but this injury he has now will hurt his chance. Possibly Fyfe if he has a big end to the year

McPharlin is behind MacKenzie, Hooker, Talia, Taylor, Trengove, Grundy, Carlile and probably a few others too. He won't make it this year unless he has a ridiculous back half of the season.

I think Ward's season is being sold short by a lot of people. He has been outstanding and definitely should be in contention for a spot on the bench at least.

The coaches clearly disagree as he was on 27 votes coming into the round and should be on 37 come Tuesday. 10th is currently on 33 votes so there's a good chance he'll sneak into the top 10.

Shouldn't be AA at this stage because he's played 2 or 3 quieter games in a spot where there's a shitload of competition but he wouldn't be undeserving to be included in the squad. Top 30 in the league for disposals, clearances and contested possessions. That's despite the fact he's only really played full time midfield since round 4.

Strongly disagree on some of those

Of course you do, you're a Fremantle supporter. There were goals conceded stats posted earlier in this thread somewhere which were backed up with details by a poster from Champion Data about the validity of match ups. McPharlin was down the list a fair way conceding over 1.5 goals per game.

Who do you strongly disagree with?

Eric Mackenzie and Cale Hooker would be the two first choice defenders for this year. I know Mackenzie didn't have a good game on the weekend, but he's been very good in all the other games this season.

Can agree with Mackenzie, Hooker and maybe Talia. The rest I would have Mcpharlin over, easily.

But as you said, I'm a Freo supporter so my views will be different to yours

On no planet has McPharlin been better than Trengove or Carlile, let alone easily better. I think you need to start watching more games.

Here's the goals conceded list.
