I just read the article about Blease officially requesting a trade. Worded exactly like the statement when Laidler left last year.

Get him as a DFA. He's no chance of staying @ Melbourne.

Really depends if there's any other interest from others clubs before the DFA period.

Yes, but if he wants to come to us (as is reported) he will just wait it out and we will pick him up as a DFA. Melbourne have no say given they have said they are parting ways. He hasn't been offered a contract so they will delist him.

i would love Sam Blease at Carlton, i rate him and reckon he never got used at Melbourne in the proper way. He would be a perfect wingman to add speed to the side

Someone reported that EmmaQ said "Dogs have pulled out of Jaksch running. Their 5yr deal isn't on offer anymore after the interview. Carlton now front runner with a 4yr deal offer. Not sure on coin offered."

Had a look at her twitter account and nothing there.

Maybe Jaksch has nominated a club and The Dogs are playing it down.

We don't want upgrades but straight to best 22 players or those that have skill-sets we don't have.........otherwise just go to the draft.

De Boer is a definite upgrade. May be fringe when the entire squad is up and in form.. but this is never the case. Would play a more discipline half forward then Robbo. Would be a lot more useful then Ellard. He's hard and a tackling machine. Lucas? And maybe a swap of thirds?

Tapscott and Blease? **** no!
