Yes. Some of his closest friends from school days. Was at dinner on Saturday night with a mate who was at local footy (BFL) and somehow it came up and it was mentioned that his mother (PD's that is) was chatting to another mum at the footy (you know how women love to chat) and she had mentioned it was a hard time for him and that 2016 was at the furthest from his mind right now. It's why I'm not sold on what Alex is saying and Mahlepi as well (although I do like his version more )

But 3/4 weeks they will be in a better place
I think the port players would be hurting more, as they had a deeper relationship, but less focus and support

Wise heads around him would be saying "take your time, there's no rush, you have a lot on your mind." Moreover, would he really commit not knowing who the coach is going to be from here? Seems a strange time to make the call to me.

As I said though, if by chance he has made up his mind to stay, I expect he will want to clear the air very quickly.
