I prefer to converse with opposition supporters on my board. Why should I have to visit theirs on this topic. It gives the impression we are insular, when the vast majority are not.

I don't visit bay13 as for juveniles. We should be able to have quality conversations with opposition supporters on this board & if they play up that is what the report button & moderators are for.

We don't need to hide behind an opposition free zone.

I think bigfooty should be as interactive as possible and if go on another board as long as your being respectful and trying to add insight and value to the topic then all good

They are such precious, holier than thou, flogs over there. I've seen some of our posters make respectable contributions on their board, and they get warned or shutdown for it. Then some of theirs post some utter tripe, and are almost applauded for it. Don't even bother going over there.

Ease up mate. People have been extremely polite but no matter how polite we are over there they complain about us being rude because we don't AGREE with them and dare to say no you're not getting Danger for free.

I have no problem with legitimate footy fans from any team wanting to discuss this topic reasonably and sensibly. However we have fights amongst ourselves let alone some nuff nuff from another side coming on and telling us their beliefs that he is gone etc. I am happy for a crows only thread in this instance.

Dale Lewis on mmm says hes been signed for weeks just hasnt been announced due to circumstances. Sources on twitter claiming he has signed aswell. Caroline Wilson stating that geelong hasnt had him signed like a majority of victorian media sources believe.

I felt the no opposition supporters concept was a bit pathetic when it came up, but ultimately I think it was suggested because you can't say boo on an opposition board without getting a holiday and yet others seem come here to stir up shit as they please.

Personally I welcome the tears of opposition supporters.

Thats pretty much it. Compared to other mods ours let alot more go on our board. So you had Crows posters being carded for sfa on other teams and then having to watch our mods let those teams supporters say what ever they wanted without penalty. The do gooders here thought that was a mark of our maturity, however the opposition posters just took it as we were soft *****.

Had a read of the last twenty pages of the Geelong thread. Seems like a mirror image to me.
You want to have mainly universal agreement unless you are being deliberately outrageous. Post here.
You want to be respectful but have no one necessarily agree. Geelong board.
You want to troll Geelong. Bay 13.
You want to post with posters from all clubs having a say. Main board.

I think it's laughable that anyone thinks any of the team boards are really that different to all the others. There are a whole heap of campaigners who talk shit and make it a partisan juvenile borefest - Ffs someone started a 'what are you going to post on Geelong's board if Danger re-signs?' thread. That's just terrible and unneccesarily antagonistic.

I've said it before but you could take quotes from both the Port and Crows general AFL discussion threads about the other team's board, remove the names from the quote, and you guys wouldn't be able to tell who posted it... Now you could probably do the same with the Adel / Geel Danger threads...
