I encourage people to engage on other boards, as long as people post respectfully

Unfortunately you will always get some that react negatively and that is the risk of posting on opposition club boards however there are also those who do welcome opposition posters who provide good insight

Not all crows' posts on the cats board have been polite, which sadly means they have had to tighten things. A minority of posters ruin it for others. Some need to re-read the bigfooty rules.

As an ex-moderator I believe I do have a good understanding of managing threads.

I would prefer we take a low rather than no tolerance line for touchier topics like this one. With the ability to report posts & 3 quality & balanced moderators this is very doable.

One of the first thing I said as moderator is that I wanted this board to be inclusive to all including opposition supporters as welcome other viewpoints - so long as respectful. It makes me sad we are now getting jibes for being insular.

At the end of the day this board is for Adelaide supporters, so it's about what the majority here want. If that's to lock out opposition supporters on some threads then I will live with that... But imo, it's just a minority.

The interesting part giving me hope is the whispers of a 'long term' deal.

In my wildest dreams I've only expected a 2 year deal at best…anything more than that would be a serious flag in the ground from Danger and secure his future as not only Mayor of Moggs but also Mayor of Adelaide in a dual role!

Win a flag for us and he will end his career in the top 3 Crows of all time.

Your more upset that Geelong posters are saying we are insular, but not offended they have all been saying Adelaide is a shithole and our club is a feeder club? Cos I didnt see you over there on that thread defending your club or city, yet your whinning about not letting them post here? Hmmm.... Not much of a supporter me thinks.

I don't really see why blocking a few trolls is cause for concern, really the only non crows fans I can see getting upset are ones who want to come on here and tell us how good their club is.
