I am just dissapointed the whole Dangerfield circus has started again. We had a really good win on the weekend and once again it's back to being all about Dangerfield. We should be talking about the Gold Coast game.

I am still annoyed Tex and Sloane had to spend half their press conferences which were really good news stories answering speculation about Dangerfield.

Obviously other events took over for a few weeks but it has been a massive distraction all year and over shadowed many good news stories.

There was talk a few weeks before Sloane made his announcement, ie Bicks talking about it on AA. Three or so weeks later it is official.

He says they didn't talk contracts with Connors. We all know this is BS, but what else could he say if they are still negotiating?

I didn't hear the interview and only read the comments but I took the "haven't thought about it" as more a sign of showing respect for Walshy and the circumstances. He may not have thought it was appropriate to concentrate on himself at this time.

That being said, he needs to think about it soon for the team, especially if he plans on staying.

As for the public quotes by Chapman etc, the easiest way for them to handle the whole situation is denying anything is happening to hose down speculation, we've seen over the last week how out of control it can get. I blame Sanders and his chicken.

I know you are just throwing out crap like a monkey - but can we all maybe avoid the "Geelong is sh!t" type posts? Also throwing insults at Dangerfield when he has done nothing - and calling him a traitor are pretty weak. The guy is bleeding for us like not many others on the field of battle - really disrespectful to try and paint him any other way.

Reading between the lines, my thought are that if Danger and Mardi are looking to start a family, some/all of the family want the children to be around their grandparents.
