Yep, Campbell's form is quickly diminishing the value of Martin. Campbell was good around the ground today.

Exactly my thoughts. Big tom has had patience, he had to wait for Cordy to have a go, then minson again, then roughie, now he is getting his chance and I think he has done a great job of it... and that doesn't include Big redpath who did a good job in ruck today aswell. I'd much rather use our first pick on something far smarter and not so knee jerk. The ruck troubles were soooo 10 rounds ago. lol what a bloody year

He certainly has been given opportunity so he can't complain on that front. Some people see the good in him and tend to blame his age (talls take time), umpires and others for his failures. Others see his faults and see an ordinary to average footballer.

Only time will tell on Talia.

Other than depth, I'm backing no great loss if he goes but only my opinion of course.

I think he lacks about 5% of the overall skills of his brother (meaning across the board) amazing how much tht 5% can mean in the end. i see him as average with a few good games a few bad games, rather then his brother who is a good player with a few average games ad a few great games. At the elite level, 5% makes all the difference sadly.

With Wallis looking like a genuine gun of the future (and present), a major ball winner in the midfield. Could we trade Libba for a player of need? There would be plenty of clubs circling a quality player like Libba and in terms of mids I think we have a good set-up already.

We know about his off-field issues and quite frankly, after a bit of convincing I'm in the camp of trading him out for a player of need. Thoughts?

Campbell was very good today against arguably the second best performing ruckman in the last 5 weeks. Red path struggled to clutch his marks today it might be time for Tom to come back in. I really liked Biggs's game today

Agree with this. Let him fully develop. Key position players always take longer and if he can get near his brother in terms of quality then we have the KPD position covered for years to come.

He's a good defender, and will develop the rest of his game.

Biggs I suspect not up to it - not in our best team but good depth player because can plug a hole

Stringer kicked the ball straight today, not left to right swingers. Something has happened there. Kid is a superstar.

My biggest frustration with me is that he is sooooo slow to make a decision. Too many times today he took a mark and took an eternity to pass it even with spare players all over the place. In the end he just banged it long because all options got manned up. I think he's been solid the last few weeks but he is just not an instinctive player at all. If he does stay on I can see Zaine going past him pretty quickly next year.

Agree on Biggs but as you say it's only a suspicion that he isn't up to it, guess we will see, at worst he is good depth while Webb develops. Hope Toyd comes in for Redpath this week.

Darley confirmed what I suspected but hoped wasn't true. He can't handle the heat. So IMO he now joins Fuller as a likely delistee.

I'm warming to Biggs. I think his disposal is overrated and under pressure he crumbles, but he's adjusting and he's valuable to the side in that he frees up other half backs and takes a bit of pressure off the talls.

Stoked for him kicking his first goal in AFL footy today, too.

Talia is important because he gets involved in the play and gets a lot of possessions for defender. Really like that as it gives us extra options and makes his opponent do some chasing. Unfortunately for him he gets more chances to stuff up so his mistakes get noticed. In time his decision making will get better and his kicking is getting better. He can really kick the ball a long way now. Definitely worth persisting with.

I'm not saying delist Biggs or anything like that but he is a depth player, in every sense of the term. He is not a best 18 player, but he could well play 6-10 games a year when there's injuries and carve out a great little 6 year, $1.5m - $2m career for himself. But he's not a great player.

Agree 100%. So is it confidence or is he just a poor decision maker. At least today he didn't lose his feet and scrag his opponent which is an improvement over his other games. He is slowly improving but at this point in time he scares me when he has the ball.
