I think we can all assume the Gary Lyon has hosted his last Footy Show.

There is no way he will be able to cop the ridicule from his fellow hosts at any point in relation to what he has done to Billy.

The only logical replacement for Gary in order to keep up ratings is for Eddie to return to the chair.

I for one think it would be fantastic for the show... what do my fellow black and white brothers and sisters think?

Don't watch either. Both primary school humour and completely lacking in any real analysis or commentary. Both are poor adverts for their code.

Do agree... would have been nice if the breakup had occured between sam newman and james brayshaw... and both of them were not returning.

NFI. And I don’t care who fills in. But not Eddie. Here we are talking about focus on the premiership while our club president is racking up media commitments left right and center. And do we really want Eddie involved in something coz Paul Newman can't control himself?

Not too many capable of filling the void other than Eddie, but I would prefer that Eddie keep away and let them work it out for themselves.
It's probably better if the show dies a slow death without Eddie being involved. This way the Collingwood haters can appreciate Eddie and what he does for football in general.

THey should get a show with Basil Zempalis, BT, Luke Darcy and that Maher clown. Tell them the show needs to be hosted in Antartica to work.....drop them off and leave them there

I'd like to see TFS return to its former glory and have it be a more a more serious/respectable football show. Eddie coming back would be a step in the right direction. However, I don't see him doing it.

I stopped watching for about 5 years, then started recording it and watching it without the ads, so I don't mind it

I would like to see Brown or Crawford step up for a larger role. When Eddy did the show their wasn't a need for 2 main hosts
