This is a line in the sand game for me.

I think it was THATSGOLD that said Varcoe would be a massive loss. Massive loss is an understatement so far.

As for our leader Sidebottom I except nothing more than BOG. You owe your team big time.
Leaders don't get suspended and you have precedent in this area.

A little more confident based on the available personnel of both teams and also the form of the Saints.

Makes our loss (as bad as it was) not the catastrophe that it seemed after the way the Saints nearly got over the line against the Hawks in Tassie.

The good news is we will know after tomorrow - a lack lustre effort would indicate something going on internally (either player or coaching based) and a long way back.

Never said it was acceptable and I definitely believe it was crap and below par but my point was that the Saints are by no means the worse team in the AFL and losing to them isn't the biggest catastrophic disaster of all time that was the prevailing view in here over the last 7 days.

We need to wait till mid season at the earliest before we put a line through Buckley, he has a very young side he has put together now.
