Better than lever in the end. Controversial but I'll stick to it. Highest upside non no.1 or 2 defender under 23. Deserved to go at 6 unlike many people's opinion.

Would target him and lachie Weller

I'm so scared of the GWS monster, this needs to be a bigger issue for our premiership aspirations. How the hell do we beat them

By 2020 GWS will probably have about 35-40 first round picks on their list. They lose a player then gain a higher draft pick or sometimes 2.

That is true but if they are always losing players and gaining picks then hopefully they never get a settled list. I would have thought by now they should be close to dominating but they keep losing players. And there is more to a footy club than just good players.

Hopefully we prize away another good OOC player at the end of this season. Surely there will be SC pressure very soon.

Agreed. We needed a Billings but I really wanted Marchbank. I wouldn't be adverse to trading for him at all. Much better prospect than a Hurley in the long run

Similar cost to Treloar IMO. Prob a little less. 2016 1st + 2017 2nd for Prestia + 2016 3rd. Something like that would be what he'd cost.

gws will want future picks for him but id love to trade players for him. (Hickey) although it would hurt us losing him even when longer becomes a beat but i don't see any value in other positions that we could trade.

hickey for marchbank and future pick swapping n the favour of GWS seems like a realistic deal.

but in the order of "gettable" gws players i want it would go

1. Sheil (2 first rounders and pick swap in our favour)
2. Kelly (future first rounder and a pick swap in GWS favor)
3. Marchbank (player + pick swap)
i oddest think saints can really picky tho, if hurley wants to come here get him, if steele wants to come here get him etc..

Honestly don't know but I doubt it very much. Surely different clubs don't have different FA rules. Um putting that in the very unlikely pile.

Unfortunately we really dont have the bargaining power for the players we are considering.

Who do we have of worth that a GWS would be willing to trade for. Dont think they have anything they want or need.

Agreed. Its only draft picks that will interest them. Even a guy like Hickey wouldn't be much interest as they have Mummy who is getting older but they also have Lobb who looks a star in the making. I'm sure they would take Billings and Steven and then I'm struggling to think of many others.
