Maybe I'm missing something but I thought Conca was pretty crap. Why do we want him?
Maybe I'm a bit of fanboy. He's not quick, but he has speed from the contest and is one of the few blokes we have that tackle. He has all the tools to be a good (I didn't say great) inside midfielder but lacks continuity. Every time he strings some games and gets his confidence back he's injured again and we're back to the start. I would like to hold on to him because his best is good and we need his ability to tackle. We also probably won't get what he's worth to us in a trade. I'm not saying he's a star. But you wouldn't be getting a dud. Get his hammies right and you might end up with a bargain for you second pick.

We have already said we aren't going to trade our first rounder. I believe I heard that straight from an interview with Rosich (could of been Bond etc, can't remember) on some radio station. Point is it'd have to be a bloody good player for us to change our mind. Brad Hill is not an elite player by any stretch and is not the sort of player that'd improve our team much IMO. It was pretty obvious a couple of days ago that I don't rate him as high as most. I'm not after that argument again but I'd rather us target cheap options this season along with KPPs and target run, speed and skill in the draft along with other gaps we can't solve by trading.

I'd much rather target the other cheaper targets we've been mentioning on here with the exception of Conca who I also don't rate much. Pick three should only be on the table for two players that we've been linked to (I use the term linked to very loosely as well with Lobb). That'd be Jesse Hogan and Rory Lobb (I realise both would cost a little more). Tbh I think the chances of us landing either this season is close enough to zero.

As I have said on here before, prefer the Crows recruiting ideas, they got a bargain with Betts. Even with quality players leaving over the years, they
have overcome the odds
I would rather we swap Sherro, Langdon,, if he wants out, than lose picks that we dont have to waste on an outside player.
But just like Gunstan, they probably already know who they want, Langdon will be a star, and has some serious weapons.

Didn't they also lose picks due to the Tippett saga? They've done a great job.

Their recruit team is also pretty good, lever, mitch to name a few.

One of the best, if not THE best.
I actually like adelaide game plan more than ehawthor and dog. Very attractive football but risk losing game also. As for Ross i actually like his coaching for this game ,when d.pearce turn over two consecutive time and he go down and had a friendly chat with him.

I think our Forward line actually looks quite promising and versatile for next year.
With: Ape, Tabs, Fyfe, McCarthy, Yarran, Bennell, Walters, Ballas, Weller. There are plenty of crumbers and markers/talls.
I think our structure needs work however and we need to improve on isolating individuals 1 on 1 more than we need to add personnell (still would be nice to add a real star KPF)

Should happen more often.

That is a bit overtop given deboer and gu play most of their game with peel this season.
Why? Both are more likely to be delisted/moved on at season's end anyway. Menegola would have got given games this season with the injuries we've had. Mzungu is 29, Menegola 24.

But menegola improve during his time with subi. Also you can see how cat manage their older player just look at bartel output after rest and yet the likes of mayne and d.pearce wont get dropped as compare to barlow and deboer.

Meims. You'd make a terrible coach. All you want to do is rest blokes.

That why i get to read your opinion, i never want to be coach. I will let the players to do what they like eg miss training , having a smoke , as long they got talent and ability ;)
