If rumours are true and we are after Suban we truly deserve to never be successful. I don't care if it's a Hartley call- someone has to start overriding this rubbish and call them out.

I feel the same but then I feel the opposite.

The way I see it is with Mitchell and Miles, Martin, Cotchin, Prestia, Deledio etc. can all play a more outside role while these two get in and under and extract the ball.

If we had Mitchell and Prestia, Miles would not get a game.

I'd take Hartlett for our pick 6 and a sweetner (Edwards/Lennon etc). With the right support around him, he's an outside jet who would immediately improve us for the next 5 years.

Adding Prestia and Hartlett to our midfield brings it straight to A class with inside/outside skill.

People have short memories about how good these 2 actually are.

You have to be kidding. Hartlett is not worth pick 6, let alone a sweetener. Only gets 20 touches a game and is injury-prone.

I hope we trade Lids this offseason. Next year he likely walk for nothing and the compensation for a contract at 30 will net us **** all, if it's even still a thing by then.

Next year he likely signs another contract because he wants to be a Tiger for life. I prefer to hope his injury issues are behind him and he plays another six years with us.

If that draft happened the way it should have we got Heppell, Essendon got Prestia and some WA club go Conca with their second.

No, we should have got Lynch.
