Potential player movements has been probably been discussed behind closed doors for as long as 12 months.
I wouldnt mind a very small 3-5 day window. 5 business days is plenty. Start on Monday 9am finish on Friday at 5pm.
We get a few in from the Swannies over at Carlton. Armfield and Yarran spring to mind.

Yeah, nah, Ross Gibbs and Sticks are great mates, and Sticks still has massive pull at Carlton, more than Trigg and SOS.No its called a CONTRACT ...
That's why you will be paying overs

Rubbish. Forward pocket kicks more goals when ball actually spends time in the forward line. What a surprise

Yes, you don't drop to the bottom of the ladder by making astute list management decisionsSo you are saying he was a great player before he came to us. Yet you let him go and wouldnt give him a respectful contract. Betts has openly said that the Blues gave him a shit contract and that was one reason he left.
No wonder Carlton is where it is at.
Or go the other way.
Open trade week up sometime close to round 13 or 14. Have it go for 3 months and clubs who bottom out could trade a star player out to win a premiership.

Bodes well for Port thenYes, you don't drop to the bottom of the ladder by making astute list management decisions
How'd the latter work out for you?
Beat me to it.Take Cameron out and they can keep 24.

Yes to the first, no to the second. Would've thought the first was self explanatory and the second I'd pretty much already answered. You agree then getting Thomas and letting Betts go was a mistake?
You agree that the Crows has made Betts a great player?
I would like to see a draft happen mid year for all those in the SANFL VFL etc to give them some hope that a Club may draft them if they have injuries/suspensions/personal issues.
The AFL should be open to giving all footy players hope and a chance for greatness.
That was before the courts were full of lefty socialists masquerading as Judges...Just remember that Gary Buckenarra took the Hawks to court because he wanted to go to west coast, it didn't work because he had a contract .......8 years later he was still playing for the hawks
What about we give Dmac to Powa, they give blues HHartless and we get Gibbs....Only took 24 hours for the Blues to get real...

..cept Powa so we win twice
Always enjoy a pint of sparkling with my parmi, that pint of course being 450mlBefore having a parmi for dinner
Am I that easy to read lol!Pretty simple thinking imo. Maybe you don't want to risk missing out on 13 for subsequent trades?

Ain't no one quite like Essendon when it comes to negotiating.People have to stop jumping at shadows.
Keep in mind that Essendon were asking for Wingard, Wines, Boak etc for Ryder. It's standard trade fare it will more than likely drag on for days yet.
People just have to patient and have faith that it will happen eventually for a fair price presumably involving other clubs in the deal.

Best of luck to the Blues too. I get the feeling the Blues are trying to set them self up in a very similar fashion to the Hawks when Clarko took over. Set themselves up for the long term with a few very strong drafts.
Yep all part of the master plan to trade out your entire forward line, genius move.Pretty good. We got 6 years of good footy out of him before trading him for #19 last year.

That's actually a very good job.Another year, another Carlton player...
Get it done, AFC - don't let my sloppy Photoshop job go to waste!
