A few posters in this forum should wake up to themselves- Gibbs has done a dog act and hijacked the Club's trade aganda without notice - worse than Henderson - at least Henderson gave noticve and we got a decent pick for him from Geelong - who weren't trying to make out like bandits nor dictate terms to us.

Gibbs Mr 5 year contract has done the dirty dirty - nothing not to expect from Mr Ponytail.

PLEASE STOP IT!!!! FYFE AIN'T COMING THIS YEAR!!!!!! You all just sound dumb!!!!!

If and I do mean "IF", SOS is actually in Perth it could be for a number of reasons, if 1 of those happens to be to speak to Fyfe, it definitely wouldn't be for this year.

To get someone like Fyfe it would take at least 12-24 months to negotiate before his current contract expires.

Do people honestly think that Judd made his decision to come home and to Carlton when the season finished??

Get realistic guys, if SOS is speaking to him, it ain't for this year

Can't see Gibbs not sulking all 2017 if he stays..... he'll be going home being bombarded by his Mrs.. or she might just leave him and then he'll be depressed and despise the club for keeping him... then get depressed and do a Cam McCarthy... go home to Adelaide (get back together with the Mrs) and then the club will have no choice but to trade him for pick 77 next year.

What facts are they? Someone here posted about two weeks ago that the club were already discussing suitable compensation should he ask for a trade. If BG asking for a trade is a massive shock to the club then that's totally on the club for not having a plan in place as the rumour has been floated for weeks now.

And the way the AFL iis handing out candy for free agency moves, Freo would be morons to trade beforehand. They'll get something juicy if he indeed moves. A lot more than whatever we have - 24 & Tutt.

I'm pretty filthy at Gibbs for it coming late notice. If he wanted to leave it's fine and I actually am glad, but to spring it late is shit. I know it might have just been circumstance, but he's gotta have some ownership of that and I hope he does the right thing by the club by talking to the Crows about getting us the right compo and apologising to us.

What if we just got Marchbank & Pickett for next years second, Lang for Tuohy and kept #5?

It wouldn't bother me at all and in fact, I'd be somewhat happy if that's all that transpired.
I don't particularly care for Stewart nor even Corr. A 5 player quality intake via trades and draft, would be fine by me.

Surely guys like Stewart and Finlayson are free to a good home?

Please, it will be #24 plus Boek plus Tutt plus Liam Jones.
That is much better than the Sam Mitchell deal, ... and Fyfe is injured so not worth much at the trade table (Where did he come in Freo B&F?)
