Yes, it leaves you thinking that there's no right or wrong in a decision (the AFL's favourite paint colour being grey) because that is the way the umpire "interpreted" the call so you are left with some umpires calling it one way, another lot calling it the other way, more umpires calling it play on, others a ball-up, most a free kick to Joel Selwood and one thing we can be certain of is all umpires will interpret a decision as a free kick to Hawthorn!

FREMANTLE has been unable to speak directly to Shane Yarran, but the recently retired Docker has told the club an expletive-laden rant which appeared on Facebook under his name did not come from him.

On Friday, two posts from the account criticised the club and a Dockers player, who AFL.com.au has chosen not to identify.

In a statement provided to AFL.com.au, Fremantle said Yarran had told the club he did not have a Facebook account.

"Despite numerous attempts the club has not be able to talk directly to Shane Yarran regarding posts made from a social media account in his name," a club spokesman said.

"However, last night Shane advised a club official via SMS that he did not have a Facebook account.

"The account from which the posts were made has now been deactivated."

Yarran retired on Monday after taking personal leave from the club since the start of December following a charge of unlawful wounding.

The 27-year-old also made a brief court appearance earlier this month for a charge of aggravated common assault, which he intends to plead not guilty to.

Yarran, a mature-age recruit to the Dockers at pick No.61 in the 2015 NAB AFL Draft, played six senior games.
