I`ve only seen the one game and it looked like a bunch of tomboys with baggy shorts down to the knees ..Now these are females right well I don`t think just dressing like the guys is the way to go ..

You talking lingerie football?? That has worked really well and is even bigger than the Super Bowl.

Not interested in the women's footy at all, but anything even close to having different uniforms to make the girls more attractive, just isn't gonna work.

It's not really about the level of skill at this point though imo, it's about growing the game and opening it up to new fans to generate more money for the AFL. If there is a top level women's league getting plenty of exposure you're going to get more young girls playing the game at the lower levels, who will want to watch games, spend money on team gear, which will lead to larger tv deals, bigger sponsorships etc etc.

IMO. Women`s footy would struggle during regular AFL season but played in offseason it could work ..

Yeh, it's going to be interesting to see where it ends up. I imagine at some point they're going to want to expand the season and make it longer so do they bring it forward and just play all the games at night or do they push the end of their season into the start of the mens season? If they can work out some way of counteracting the affect of the hot weather it could carve out a nice niche in the summer.

It's a pity the game was much scrappier than the exhibition matches that have been played in the past. I think it'll just be a matter of time for new talent to come through.

Was still pretty enjoyable as someone starved of footy and it would be ten times as enjoyable if they were representing the Eagles.
