This season, he's taken his game to the next level.



Here's his averages: 2017 season thus far, versus his 2013-2016 averages combined.

Basically 5 more possessions, 3 more tackles, and kicking a goal a game (usually after drifting into a pack and grabbing a mark he had no earthly right to take). He's really enjoying his game, he's getting stuck in whenever the game is on the line, he is blossoming.

The shorter his hair gets, the better he plays. He is reverse Samson.

Even Port supporters if they looked deep enough into their dark souls would admit he plays the game the way you want to see it played.

just a machine. It's impossible to fault him. He works hard for his team mates, he won't back down and while he is an ultra competitor he still finds time to play with a smile on his face. His gut running ability is possibly the best in the AFL, His decision making and contested ball skills rank him amongst the elite. If he plays like this for the remainder of his career he will easily rank in the top 10 crows of all time. Possibly force his way into the top 5.

hard to suggest we will be in a great midfield position if we remove his contested possession capabilities from our starting line up. Lucky for us he seems to have that build that isn't injury prone.
