But the basis of appeal seems so clear cut - medium impact was a wrong call. Unless the club truly believes it was medium contact and that Papley was not exaggerating?

The club has to prove it wasn't medium contact, without seeing the medical report that could be quite difficult. Would Papley testify for them? A bit like the Selwood "I bleed easily" he could say he drops easily.

He admitted on TV on Sunday that the one he got the week before was harder

The one the week before was graded low impact...

Piss off you bunch of weak pricks, thanks for destroying our season with your gutless antics, why not roll the dice, we wont beat the pies next week anyway even if Duncan was available. GFC ****ing grow a pair, we obviously have so many talented replacements to come in that Duncans absence wont be missed, ********s!!!

So I never realised Hodge was graded as low impact... surely the words that came out of Papleys own mouth are enough to prove that Medium is graded far too highly

Surely!!! I agree what the hell is wrong with us? Why don't we support our players instead of rolling over.
I'm so annoyed by the club. Do they realise they drive away the fans?
Why are we for the fans regarding changing our preference from a Monday night Rd 23 fixture to a Saturday night one?
It's clear as day playing Monday is better for the team, we can't do long breaks and extra time (2 days) to get our players over injury issues that have been a concern all year.

Did Essendon appeal?

Duncan should have challenged, however, if he got off then would there be a case of staging for PAPLEY to answer?

Wasn't the case in the Schofield v Clayton Oliver incident recently.

West Coast appealed Schofield's one match ban and were successful, implying Oliver faked/exaggerated contact.

Wish we stood up for our players like they did.

Very disappointing. We are the biggest pushovers in the league.

Wrong end of the season to be really pushing for this ... if it was in the first half then I can definitely see it happening ... we are down so many players as is ...

In saying that ... I am so over the MRP and how things are judged week by week. Blind Freddy can see the differences (or similarities) between incidences and yet they all get different values assigned to them. Something has to give ... I'm not sure how many times the MRP has already been overhauled but it needs to happen again ... or get rid of it. Get all reportable offenses back through the actual tribunal and actually have them able to be defended.

We only need to win one of the last three to stay in top 4. Rest everyone and go for GWS. We will probably beat Pies anyway.

Shouln't that be a yellow feather

I am not prone to melting but **** that is pathetic

If ever there was a time for us to stand up and take it on it was now, you could almost suggest that our entire club has lost it's bit of mongrel, we certainly don't have it when it gets physical on field... seems we don't have it at all off field either
Disgusting really
