Saad very big fan of Rocket and visa versa. Likely to seek a move to join his mentor if the club is interested.

Would love Saad end of this year with Simmo slowing down, Byrne coming off a major injury and Williamson only a 1st year player.
Sheehan and Buckley likely to be delisted.

Not sure how we could get him though trade wise...maybe 2018 2nd rounder? Get him and Kelly while keeping Gibbs and that would probably be around pick 24-26 which is probably fair.

How much would we have to pay for Saad?

Good player, not A-grade, young enough...

Second round?

Saad would be brilliant. All this talk of Yarran. Saad is a very similar player minus the elite disposals but a harder worker.

Disposal quality is my problem with Saad. I love his attack on the ball, but his turnovers, particularly in the midfield once he's run out of half-back, are lethal.

A mate pointed out to me that we took Murphy with pick one from our first wooden spoon, he has nearly played 250 games and we are staring down the barrel of another wooden spoon. Pretty depressing.

Only bright spark is we are finally doing what we should have done many, many seasons ago.

Kerridge will grow as a player, still young and he's the type like ed and Carrazzo was where they have worked hard to achieve.
I think Kerridge is a solid back up player who has reasonable but not great skills. If we put a fit Cripps, Ed, Cuningham and Marchbank into our 22, then Kerridge, Boekhorst, Smedts and Thomas would IMO drop out.

One of the questions was "Who would you most like to spend an hour with from history?", and his answer was Albert Camus, a twentieth century existential writer and philosopher. Down the track I met Judd and asked if it was a genuine answer, and he said it was, and that his favourite book by the author is 'The Outsider'.

Here I'd normally provide an exercise for the reader in terms of referencing a video by The Cure but the mods find my posts too obtuse and delete my posts so why bother.
