There's a guy over at the GWS board who seems to know 100% for a fact that Kelly is leaving at the end of the year. Suggested the club was informed 6 weeks ago:

"How else can I say it? the club have been told of his intentions for 6 weeks. Nothing to do with just before finals and nothing about disliking club. You seem to have different mail let's see. I'm a betting man if you're in?"

"Are you still certain he is leaving? All the talk out of Melb today is that he's very close to re-signing..."

"Why should the talk worry you? you said you knew he was staying. What is it you know or just the "talk". The "talk" is no concern to me as I know what is happening he is 100% moving home the only question is which club and he will not be screwing us in any deal."

Hypothetically, if he went to Melbourne and he was interested in 2, maybe 3 clubs and wanted to help GWS out, we are probably in the best position trading wise. Unless other clubs give up stars. Or Norf trade 2017 & 2018 first.

Think the club would be keener to hold on to next years first - the 2018 draft is being hyped as the next 'super draft'.

Joey saying in an Herald Sun article about him calling Friday nights game on triple m that's he still in "limbo" but a "few scenrios" are being presented.

Wouldn't be surprised if he is offered the rookie role Schneider had and Fish was offered.
