The Bulldogs were a small club, seen as battler's who generally don't arouse strong feelings, and they were the traditional Victorian fairytale against the hated Swans, while Richmond are hated by many here, especially by clubs they have strong rivalries with like Carlton. Adelaide also seem fairly well liked and respected among interstate clubs, especially the past few years. But will the interstate thing trump that?

Victorians, who will you be supporting and why?

I'm fine with either team winning. It'll be party time if the Tigers get up, or if the Crows get up, it will be entertaining all the same with the melts.

But I'm going with Crows because Eddie Betts is the most likable of all the players out there.

I feel the same as an Eagles supporter. Always liked the Crows of other teams, and they deserve it, also after all they've been through, but Richmond haven't won for 37 years. At least I can sit back and enjoy it. If not for the drought I'd be firmly behind the Crows. Probably still am a bit.

Last year I was barracking so hard for the Dogs as if they were the Eagles. Living in Footscray doesn't help!

I want to say Adelaide...

But **** me Richmond, and their fans, have earned this.

Why the hate? Haha
Because after the last couple of weeks. Collingwood cant call themselves the biggest sporting club in Australia.

Already Adelaide and West Coast have their measure in my opinion and sometimes Essendon.

But Richmond last night created the largest one sided atmosphere in afl history. Collingwood have not done this.

Eagles memberships are capped and there's a long waiting list, so it's not entirely reflective. Part of the reason is Subi has half the capacity of the G. That may change with the new stadium. But if you consider all fans, including casual fans, West Coast probably has the most supporters of any club. Melbourne is a city of 4.6 million carved up between 9 clubs (albeit not evenly). Perth has over 2 million between 2 clubs, so there's simply a much larger potential supporter base.

Crows.
Richmond have no like nor sympathy for anything involving Collingwood. The feeling at games is pretty hostile and of course I know it goes both ways.
I won't be booing or carrying on in any way against the Tigers on Saturday, except that given the choice between the two, I prefer Adelaide.

The crows thanks

I was actually going for Freo in 2013, but I hated Hawthorn too. If Freo were in another gf it would depend who they played against. They're not my second favourite nor least favourite team, but I admit a sadistic satisfaction in knowing they've yet to hold up a premiership cup.

Which proves my point. That Collingwood aren't the biggest club.

Richmond dwarfed them last night.

Don't let your jealousy consume you.

I'd love to see Richmond win they have played with some real heart this season. Dusty is an absolute machine and deserves a premiership medal.

Though I won't mind if the crows win either as I'd love Eddie Betts to win one too.

Either way it should be a cracking game especially since GWS aren't playing in it :p
