Here's the context:Would be more reassured if he had said "problem was getting the deal done" not "is"

Dogs are up a certain creek without a paddle now imo. Stringer will only play for us, and they've succesfully managed to piss off Connors and his team so there is little to no inclination for them to salvage the train wreck that relationship has now become. Stringer refusing to meet with Beveridge yesterday is proof that the relationship is beyond repair. They can't afford Watts by the sounds of it so what makes them think they can afford Stinger.
The Dees and Dogs are both being unreasonable this year. Both have pushed their respective players out the door, but for whatever reason are still trying to demand that clubs pay a premium for them.Geelong always wanting to get players on the cheap lol

Paul Connors not happy that's for sure.
Note to clubs: do not piss off a players manager. It feels weird having Connors on our side for once...

is he though? why doesnt he just come out and say that Essendon is Jakes nominated club.
He's a two timing flog himself, tell him to get off the fence.
What above trade? The Doggies board saying the above trade for stringer being reported on SEN. Anyone heard that?
Add to the fact that they are rejecting Geelong's offers for a 34 year old that would likely retire at Gold Coast and Matera for supposedly a 3rd rounder from Fremantle, Gold Coast are the true hard to deal with club.
What looked to be a pretty straight forward second round pick is muddied for no reason.
Oh sorry they are not rejecting a third. They want a third round pick. I'd say he's trade value is lessThey are rejecting a third round pick for Matera? That's a new low.
I'm guessing he was talking about this:What above trade?
He's never on a club's side. He's always on his player's side, which means that one club is always going to cop the short end of the stick. That's why he's at the top of his profession.
No chance in the world they do that trade....I'm guessing he was talking about this:
"SEN is reporting pick 11 pick 29&2018 second for Footscrays 2018 first and stringer."
Hmmm Interesting. Next year is a "superdraft" and I don't expect Bulldogs to do that well.
Lloydy was apparently saying earlier they're being really stupid in that regard and that Matera was/is on the verge of being delisted anyway. Suns being unreasonable expecting anything more than a 3rd for a player who's not in their best 22 going forward. They are rejecting a third round pick for Matera? That's a new low.
