I'm the 'campaigner' who nominated Us & Them.
It fits the rules of the theme, yet at least four separate posters have had a go. Sure there are more trippy songs from PF, but it's MY NOM, and it was accepted as per the rules. So suck it up.
Just like Elton says, if you like it, vote for it. If you don't, then don't. Simple.

I also wanted to nom Hey Jude last round (was just beaten to it), and had to endure posts of crap about that one.

Perhaps my song choices mean the SC is not for me.



I like the bullsh!t on Bay 13 and the SFA, but it's not fun here. It's just dull and deflating.

If it's usually this way then pardon my intrusion, I shall be on my way. Happy to fling sh!t at you and vice-versa on the other forums.

Floyd fits the theme- no one is calling for a DQ.
Its also an amazing song, all people are commenting on is its a poor song selection.

This happens every round to LOTS of songs.

If its a classic people say "should have picked a lesser known album track"
If its a unknown album track its "why choose that? Would have got my five with such and such"

The purpose of the song contest is melts.

I caned the choice of Boho.
Again, fantastic track (have nommed it myself) but a poor selection this round.
The Dandys have less selection of psychedelia than Floyd but plenty of trippy BANGAS.

One of my songs, I can't even remember which one, got roasted when I actually thought it was a pretty decent nom for the theme. I've suggested a couple of times that comments on the noms shouldn't be allowed until voting has finished but no one seems to want to take that on board. It would solve a lot of issues.
