Side note, sucks that McVeigh is out and Jack comes in without having to play in the reserves at all. Still, I am very glad Aliir is back in the team. I hope Longmire gives him a block of 3 or 4 games before he (Longmire) even considers dropping him.

Maybe so but has more of a future than Robinson especially if Robinson is coming in for just a single game

Play week to week and Robbo gets more of the ball. Outside of matchups, pecking order: Jack>Robinson>Stoddart.

Aliir will be a good match up on their rookie Brander - apparently a gun and a steal at his draft position. Time for him to show what he's made of.

On paper it's a like for like swap but Horse's comment about Aliir being versatile is concerning. In saying that if they wanted a ruck they'd bring in Cameron, another forward? Seems odd to go super tall

I think Aliir will play mainly defence but just pinch hit in the ruck so we don’t have a Fox vs Stanley scenario again. At least that’s what I hope.

Eagles have a lot of tall options even without Darling.. Kennedy, NN, Lycett, Brander, Waterman, and Ryan whose an aerial threat.
