Ideally Peru beats France so table looks like this:If France defeat Peru, then the Danes and French control the group, and ensure it in the final match.
Peru defeat France and group is open on final group match day
Who cares about the future in a "once every 4 years" tournament?Cahill ain’t the ******* future.
This is the truth.Hardly.
Our inability to put the thing in the net is what cost us
It would be if that campaigner Arnold wasn't taking over after this WC.

Agree and even at his age he is scary for the opposition to face.Who cares about the future in a "once every 4 years" tournament?
It's unlucky if you don't always play the same players and expect something different. They are who we thought they were - no good infront of goals proven time and time againThis is the truth.
Reckon I have heard 20 post match pitch interviews after Aus games this qualifying series where you could have replayed the tape:
"We outplayed them for large sections and were very unlucky not to at least convert one or two of the multiple chances we had".
How? It’s a World Cup, France will likely still come out to play in their game against Denmark even if they win tonight.Peru needs to win, otherwise it's virtually over for the Socceroos

100%This is the truth.

Denmark have us for quality all over the park- except perhaps in central midfield- and yet we outplayed them. Hard to knock that.Man people criticising Bert just wait til dickhead Arnold takes over
Ideally Peru beats France so table looks like this:
1. Denmark 4 pts
2. Peru 3 pts
3. France 3 pts
4. Australia 1 pt
Which would mean an Australian win vs Peru guarantees qualification

What happens if Denmark lose 2-1 to France and we beat Peru 1-0? We’d have equal results in all matches. Toss a coin? Fewest yellow cards?
