This was consistently worse over the course of the game, atrocious non HTB calls on Moore, Hoskin-Elliott, Crisp and Stephenson. Amateur hour, would an average Joe picked off the street with any knowledge whatsover of the game have missed those 4 calls? I doubt it

Stringer had an incredibly obvious HTB that wasn’t called in the fourth quarter. The umpires just stopped calling it, I don’t think it was favouritism one way or another.

You need prior opportunity before you get called holding the ball. Why do so many people on here, Bigfooty being a congregation of the most passionate of AFL fans, not know this?! That Stephenson incident is not holding the ball, he didn't have prior.

Before the game, the Vic media were pumping Collingwood up as the favourite for the premiership. I scratched my head, the Eagles had beaten them on their own ground, admittedly the Eagles didn’t turn up to play Port.

After today, Collingwood should not be the media favourite for the premiership. Essendon were very so so.

Very open season, anyone can win the premiership.

It may not have mattered to the outcome, but Stephenson should've been pinged. Umpires need to be held to account over stuff like that. It had a massive bearing on the end result. Plus, as fans, we all like to watch a fair and even contest during the dying stages of a match.
