Yeh, talent on Saints and esp. Carlton's list really working well for them;

Taylor
Zurhaar
Thomas
LDU
Scott
Nothing to see here.
it's ******* ridiculous that we can't even get "they are better than carlton" after they have been absolute hot garbage for over a decade. Always "oh look how good carlton is this year, definitely turning a corner" when they're moments away from sacking their coach for the millionth time.

Can you elaborate on what he said please?
Just watch what Shaw can do with this list, or words to that effect. Certainly got excited

The bitterest article by a losing fan you could ever read:

Just some of the excrement contained within:

"Sir Doug Nicholls Round celebrations took a backseat as every possible connection to North Melbourne – Kelli Stevens, the family of the turn of the century butcher responsible for the Shinboners nickname, that elephant that would roam Arden St at half time joined in the team circle and celebrated an unconvincing victory and an unconvincing farewell to their senior coach."

"English, despite ending up with less hitouts than his back up in Zayne Cordy, still managed to account for nine score involvements to Goldstein’s five. Goldstein failed to register a single contested mark, any mark inside 50, a centre clearance (Grundy had four in a midfield stacked with centre clearance specialists) and just the one one-percenter for the day." So English was more influential on the game than Goldy with 28 possessions and 57 hitouts.

"Where do North see Jed Anderson’s future? He was heroic and ferocious at the contest, and constantly putting his body on the line on numerous occasions in the frantic final quarter. For the other three, he seemed very content to rack up nothing possessions that went backwards, and play out a hard-man image off the back of cheap acts on younger players. "

"Daniel, for mine, was best on ground. The bloke is <170cm and took NINE intercept marks today, which ranks as one of the most incredulous stats you’ll see all year." Seriously, he thinks a guy that was playing loose in defence, the easiest role in football, was best afield.

It would be interesting from a fan's perspective to know the mandate, if any, given to Shaw by Ben Buckley. This season is not about pure wins and losses anymore. Every decision needs to be made with a view of what will make us the strongest possible team in 2021.

LOL, what a sook. However, there was one line that sums up the last 9.5 seasons, though:

"We also need to look at the moves that North refused to make all game that probably allowed the Dogs to remain in the contest longer than they should have."

Correct. How many guys have had 35 possession games against North without a single coaching move being made on them all game?

I am so sick of the media giving Scott this false praise of extracting the best from a poor list.

He had 10 ******* years to assemble a list. It is his list, he didn’t inherit it.

If the media think the list has been so poor, then they should be laying the boots in for him not being capable of assembling a good list.

The media are such a clueless bunch of fukheads.

The Dogs are ****ed.

They rely on a couple of good players to cover for a bunch of potatoes.

As for Daniels game, he had heck all impact collecting cheap possessions in the back half and then doing nothing with them.

As for English having more impact than Goldy hahahaha

This is driving me crazy. Wheatley is the worst culprit. On Crunch time he was trying desperately to blame North for Brad Scott not being able to achieve. Luckily Kingy was on to balance it out.

They so conveniently seem to forget that his development of young players has been abysmal.

There is one person to blame for his demise, and that is himself.

This poor Brad narrative is a ******* joke.

How many other clubs would have given the bloke 10 years to build a team to truly contend?
