Its great to watch as a neutral, i rather watch that then some ess v syd they got on on rd 2

A) The games are on FTA in their home state already.
B) Foxtel pay the lions share of the tv rights money, and therefore can throw their weight around in regards to scheduling.

How the hell has the AFL not scheduled them in Hobart yet. But this fixture doesn't even a new Victorian team like the Bulldogs down in Hobart. Nope, boring matches, poor crowds and a waste of taxpayers money. This money is better spent getting an actual national team down here(Cough NBL cough).

Dogs always played in Tassie vs Hawthorn from around 08-15. We would not be new or any interest. It's only been in recent years they actually played a home at at the G vs us.

"I" don't sell anything, I think you will find most North supporters hate the arrangement as well, especially when we are already going there and still have to go to Launceston for a Hawthorn game.

The economics of these games is that it turns "unprofitable" games against interstate clubs into "profitable" games.

It ****s over the interstate clubs who miss out on MCG time, it ****s over Geelong who have to play home games in Melbourne, and to an extent it ****s over Richmond/Pies because it forces them to play home games at Marvel.

Whole thing is a joke. Hawks/North are profiting at the expense of all other clubs.

You’ve probably watched the highlights of that game as many times as I’ve watched the highlights of the 2019 GF.

But in terms of Docklands games you will find Hawthorn carries the burden more than most.

Next year we play 5 games at Docklands, including a home game, and the most away games of any Victorian club

Meanwhile Geelong get kissed on the proverbial with all 11 games at their two preferred venues
