Scott has had the best list in the comp since 2016. He has dramtically underachieved with the list he has had.
I genuinely don't understand how you can say CS has had the best list in the comp since 2016. Maybe it was close a couple of years but I don't think he's ever had a clear best list in the comp. If he did we'd have been on the first lined of betting going into a season, which I don't think we've been since 2008. Even 2011 we were being written off before and during the season.

Where does this come from,he works bloody hard for those opportunities, great second efforts at times for such a big man.

He is just polarizing like cam Guthrie or a motlop fans will de divided. But works bloody hard wouldn't be something that follows my opinion of jerka over the journey. I do like him as a player though but settle on the bloody hard worker for opportunities

Or GF where he was a total enbarassment? Home prelim when the side wins by 10 goals.. that might be his scene.
We have lost 4 prelims in a row. I would take a 4 goal prelim performance even if he did nothing in the gf.

A good read on Jenkins in the Herald Sun:

“I caught up with the Cats before trade period, so a little bit sneaky,” Jenkins admits.

“We met Chris and the staff before the trade period and then we were both going overseas. It was at his house, actually, he said ‘I’m going to New York’. I said ‘so am I’. He’s like ‘I’m staying in East Village’, and I was like ‘so am I’.

“We were in the same place at the same time. We caught up for lunch late in the piece and were there for an hour and a half, two hours.

“No footy chat, Lottie and Hannah were there, we were chewing the fat a little bit. It was during the trade period. We shook hands and said ‘hopefully we can make something work, but I can’t promise anything’. And off we went.”...

...He’d had contact from several clubs, he said, but felt a responsibility to at least meet Geelong given the groundwork put in by former Crows teammate and Brownlow Medal-winning Cat Patrick Dangerfield.

“I felt a little bit indebted to Pat, because I knew he’d put a fair bit of work in and put my name up in lights a fair bit,” he said.

“I don’t know how much they listen to him, but I knew the situation and the environment.

“There’s a bit of legend around the league about how Geelong runs their program. So I was really eager to get here and try it out and immerse myself. The bonus was, they compete deep into September almost every year.”

He also talks about his expectations for this coming season

Is it just me or could he do with being a bit more humble? Guarantees himself a spot in best 22 if he plays to his best!!

Not sure there's much wrong with players backing themselves in based on playing their best

I would be more worried if he declared himself best 22 regardless of form

And if it works out that Jenkins playing his best isn't good enough for our best 22, then it's a bloody good sign that things are going alright in the seniors

I think we all knew that whatever Jenkins brought to the group, it wouldn't be humility.

It's overrated as a trait. Especially in elite athletes.

Fairdinkum you rub me up the wrong way, in fact I'm holding back on this, and for all the sane people out there; this guy goes 2 goals a game over almost 150 AFL games but no respect??... lets think a bit!...just a little?...Hawkins kicks all the goals; and he frieeekin needs help!:
I know you won't or don't understand this but some people on here just might.
So to sum up, l'm with Jenkins all the way and personally l'm not surprised at your meaningless diatribe just BS as usual.

Settle.....

I like what he brings to the table as a player also...that doesn't mean its BS if people have a differing opinion...nor is it BS to comment on his tendency to be outspoken...it was a topic raised by Crows supporters more than a few times.

Nothing he said is untrue though. Has a rep as a big mouth.
