Not really surprising...
China’s coronavirus conspiracy: Wuhan residents tell of chilling death toll clue
Some residents believe that up to 18 times the number of people have died in their city from COVID-19 than authorities are reporting.7news.com.au
I never believed in the numbers from China and I think the Australian government didn't either.
Under reporting deaths in Wuhan is entirely believable.
That there is a mass epidemic going on now much less so.
The fact info is getting out about Wuhan, but not a rampant current epidemic, when info on the former would be much easier to control suggests as much.
Evidence of something that would be idiotic. They've even admitted to change reporting and reporting 70% less of cases. The changes in reporting made:
Even if tested positive
- asymptomatic were not considered contagious so not reported
- outpatients were not reported
Now times that by ten.
Evidence of something that would be idiotic.
People in Wuhan know that deaths have been dramatically under reported, and people are unhappy about it.
If they are suppressing news of the infection, then that means they are suppressing attempts to halt it. After all, you cannot confine people to home without them being aware of this.
If the disease is rampant, and unchecked in China, it will cause devastation, and bring down fury on the CCP.
If they see the disease as a threat, and fight it, this cannot remain secret. As I said, you cannot restrict peoples movements without them knowing, you cannot build emergency hospitals without people knowing. If people know that the Wuhan crematoriums are working massively overtime, why dont they know about any other crematoriums.
Even for a despotic yet rationale government like the CCP, this would be a self harming and irrational action.
The world knows the disease comes from China, what is achieved by pretending its gone away if it hasnt?
This is the sort of conspiracy that makes sense in a movie, because you can just write, the government fought the disease, and suppressed news of this across the country, and nobody figured it out.
But in the nitty gritty of actual real world motive, interest and capacity to do this, its nonsensical.
Note, that an actual second outbreak in china is entirely possible, and some experts are even predicting its likely
I suggest you look up the definition of wet markets because it appears the media don’t have a clue. There are many wet markets in all parts of the world including China. The majority of wet markets do the right thing but SOME persist in the exotic live animal trade and this is the part that needs to be stopped. A wet market itself isn’t a problemNot a reliable source as we only need to google "Has China banned wet markets" to be inundated with info contrary to your article.
Now, not attacking you but you downplay people with other opinions to yours and you do it with vigour. Maybe learn to see arguments other than yours as people, rightly, are pissed off and blame the source of this epidemic. Some compassion on both sides would go a long way to healing what is happening on our planet right now.
Swans membership? Treat it as a donation to keep the club afloatWhat happens to AFL memberships? I joined for the first time this year. Am I expected to keep paying for likely nothing?
Same with West Coast (well I am in NSW so I wasnt getting much regardless)Swans membership? Treat it as a donation to keep the club afloat
Consular staff may not agree wioth you.Yes they did, like everybody else would've done more sooner.
Not really as it is explaied to me. Also lock down - come out and surprise surpries the viurus is still with us. I think it is better to say we are managing the situation well.So Australia is definitely going down the path of achieving herd immunity by controlling the spread of the virus, as opposed to going for total elimination. Very risky path to take, because if total elimination is a possibility at any stage and that option is not exercised, surely the federal government is open for a class action lawsuit for families of deceased people as a result of COVID19?
Not to mention that health experts still dont 100% understand everything about the virus. Two different strains? Long term health side effects? Genetic pre-disposition to virus? Its a *ingg slippery slope they are going down.

1 in a 1000 years? I would give that 1 to the bubonic plague..SARS being the big one despite it being limited to SE Asia. Look yes this is a 1 in 1000 year thing, but lets not pretend the signs weren't there. You release border protections and you run a huge risk, and cruise ships are just a joke they are worse. There has to be an end game. This year is what it is, but what can we do after the vaccine to protect us. Doing nothing isn't a valid response and one I'll be livid with. Personally I've already decided to never travel to China until certain things are in place, that is a personal thing though. What can we do in the long and short term after this is over?
Sadly that's true. The economy would adjust by collapsing
Thank you for your donation. What happens to AFL memberships? I joined for the first time this year. Am I expected to keep paying for likely nothing?
Taiwan has c. 24m people, had (until recently) many travellers to & from China- but only has c. 300 covid-19 cases, with 5 deaths.
Its success is built on:-
. very early recognition of the covid-19 dangers (despite the Chinese Communist Party's coverup & lies).
. very early bans on travellers fron China entering Taiwan.
. strict enforced quarantine protocols- which included careful monitoring that those people observed their quarantine
. strong testing & tracing measures; & social distancing.
Despite their obvious success, the WHO, generally, ignored Taiwan, & its offers to help with covid-19.
US Senator M. Rubio , & others, say this is because the WHO allows itself to be too heavily influenced by the demands of the CCP (which provides considerable funding for the WHO).
Why Taiwan has become a problem for WHO
Taiwan is effectively locked out of the World Health Organization - and tensions are rising.www.bbc.com
