The AFL is so obsessed with increasing scoring that surely they can't keep the shorter quarters. They need the junk time goals to get the scores up.

So Collingwood don’t kick a goal in 1hr of footy, and the game ends in draw. Rubbish congested game with 10 goals kicked all game between the teams.

I'm not surprised. They've been copying tactics from football for at least the last 10 years. The press itself is taken straight from football, same with the sides that play on the counter.

Watching the players get their nasal swabs done would have been more exciting than this. And sucked in seven .. not many goals to squeeze ads in. AFL needs to extend game back to normal length. This is a farce.

Good on the AFL, bringing the mens game in line with AFLW, both score and spectacle wise. But I was hoping for this result. They can both suck a big fat one.
