I have seen quite a few people on here saying about whether they are playing for league wins or overall win. Can someone explain what the difference is. I play in leagues so of coarse I want to win them but I am always trying to get my best overall score. When I make trades in my team is to make my team better and hopefully score more it makes no difference to me who I am playing in any of the leagues I'm playing in. You win some you lose some.

I mainly play for league glory rather than overall. I still try to maximise my score but in some cases, for example, if I have my league win in the bag on Sunday morning I might cop a donut rather than waste a trade, knowing that my overall score will suffer. Also if I have the week off in league finals I won't care too much about my score, perhaps saving a trade until the following week.

There's a few key differences but the main one is saving trades for finals (league wins/finals) vs using trades quicker (a trade in the final week of the year is unlikely to net you as many points as a trade made with 3-4 rounds left)

Another example would be a league player might start Williams round 1 even though suspended. Overall players trade hard and early.

Does anybody have the graph of teams and their playing days? Number of matches played on Thu/Fri/Sat arvo/Sat night/etc etc. Usually floats around here or twitter before the season starts.

I'm a SC veteran but never played draft before.

Just logged in to draft section for the first time. It has a pre draft page that appears to have functionality that I can't get to work but may be im mistaken? Is this just a list or can you customise or make your own draft order, etc?
Seymour Skinner should be able to assist

Never done an autodraft before, sorry.

Only 2 years of data but this fella posts some pretty cool stuff.
He had the top1000 ownership numbers last year too, highly recommend giving him a follow if you use Twitter at all.

Quick Question.

Set up a couple of Hawthorn BF leagues this week. I entered them as the admin.

Can I remove myself at some point to allow entrants to take their place. i.e. I don't want my side in multiple leagues but entered to set them up?

SC fish Seymour Skinner

Cheers

Pretty certain that you can do this.
WaynesWorld19 would do something similar with the Bigfooty div leagues.

Cheers for that. There is an option to leave the league but was not sure if the league remained after the admin withdrew.

League will remain, dunno if it randomly gives someone else admin status or not.

Just have to rely on someone at the end of the season to supply details for relegation promotion etc.
I've got Capt's of every division in a PM .....they're helping me re intel on filled leagues / who hasn't joined
Everyone's put their hand up and been fantastic support

We had a thriving Hawk BF (6 leagues) a few years back. A few key organisers got busy and covid arrived and it fell away. Trying to re-establish it this year.

Will be interesting to see how SC bounces back post 2020, numbers wise. Was a shocking year to play.

Also the late team drop will filter a few out.
