we're just going to have to dig deep and push through without them. if we are a serious side we will find a way as all great teams have had to do before. hopefully we can get ourselves into a good enough position to get them back a few weeks before finals.

Stoppages can be covered by a decent increase to Rozee's midfield minutes plus as much as Robbie Gray can handle.

I don't think anyone can replace his creativity in general play - maybe Houston with the kicking component and Gray with the quick hands.

But its going to suck.

If the surgeon tells Zak Butters he'll be out for 10 he'll be back in 6.

Definitely prefer them taking the surgery option. Remember a couple of years ago after the waterskiing fiasco the club decided to go the "she'll be right" option on Wines's shoulder and he was a lame duck all year. Much better to take the medicine now and come back fully firing.

If anyone would get him right in 5, it would be the combination of Butters and Dr. Hutchinson. He's brutal on the rehab front. He'll be straight out of that moonboot and walking around even if it's causing huge pain to Zak to walk unassisted. He basically gives 24 hours of rest, then it's straight into moving it and doing basic mobilization exercises. He'll be taking a few steps on it a day after the surgery. He wont allow it to be immobilized for longer than that because it just hurts long term mobility.

Curious when Bonner is available, he would be a handy replacement for Duursma.

Riley Bonner (hamstring) – 4-6 weeks

Zak Butters (ankle) – Indefinite

Xavier Duursma (knee) – Indefinite

Tyson Goldsack (knee) – 4-6 weeks

Jake Pasini (shoulder) – 10-12 weeks

Tom Rockliff (concussion) – Test

Well Rockliff is there, he can run all day, slowly but all day....
