Umm..No. Walker's progressing very nicely, and has just reconfirmed his #2 ranking in that draft, and may end up being the best from that draft at this rate. Brock's a great little tough nut, but is a solid talent class below Walker, and lacks his height, pace, leap, and upside. I still think Brock is worthy of #5, but didn't Sylvia turn out to be a complete dud. Bet you wish you could have that choice again.

Pull your head in Carlton supporters. You all know Brock is the much better player than Walker and will be for the remainder of his AFL career.

Walker may look good leaping around like a green tree frog but he has $h*t all impact in about 80% of his games. Brock wears his heart on his sleeve, plays his guts out and is very effective too.

Carltons 3 spoons in 5 years shows where you are. You have this great hope that these young stars will propel you to great sucess. If Carltons team was as good as Parrott talks it up why have you been down the bottom for the last 5 years. With the talent you talk up you should at least be mid table.

As for Walkers number 2 selection....see Luke Livingstone and look at the positive correlation.

Cupido had more talent than Coughlan yet look where that's headed. Talent isn't everything, Fiona had all the talent ahead of him but turned out into a massive dud. While I'm not saying Walker will become a dud too, the fact that Walker may or may not have more talent than McLean is irrelevant, its what they do with that ability that matters, and ATM McLean is better than Walker. This debate exists between Cooney and McLean because both players have reached their potential talent to a large extent. Walker hasn't.
