Narkle is not a replacement for Dalhaus. Narkle is not a pressure player at all.,
Give me a bloke with some ticker and 7 years up his sleeve over this pea heart any day of the week thanks.

He’s definitely objectively the worst, but he’s not an amazing Home & Away player either.
His possession avg in finals wouldn’t be significantly different from his usual count, and as a mid sized forward that’s not his main KPI.
Edit - averaging:
2021 - 10 touches, 1.7 goals
2020 - 8 touches, 1.1 goals
2019 - 9 touches, 1.3 goals
2018 - 9 touches, 0.6 goals
2017 - 9 touches, 1.3 goals
He’s just a pretty rubbish player.
It’s weird bcos his game isn’t even built on high possession counts or bags of goals in the H&A season. He’s at his best when he’s applying manic pressure, chasing blokes down and being creative with knock ons etc. That’s stuff which should be pretty easy to replicate week to week given the freakish speed and natural talent that he has. Just for some reason gets absolutely nowhere near it in finals. Must be a huge mental block for him now.

17 finals
16 goals
0.94 goals per game
240 disposals
14.11 disposals per game
However Leon Davis probably is the worst Grand Final player ever having recorded a 0 disposal game.
Didn't Varcoe kick 3 goals on him?In 2010 he was also sh*t, but kicked a clutch goal that saved us. And he was downright pretty good in 2011.
Stephen Milne is another small forward who struggled in big finals.
In fact, given how much better he was as a player than Rohan, he may in fact take the title.
In Milne's first prelim (2004), he had 1 touch, 0 goals and 4 clangers! (3 frees against) in one of the worst finals showings of all time.
In his second prelim (2005), he had 4 touches and no goals.
In his first 5 prelim or grand finals, he averaged 8 possessions and kicked a total of 2 goals (for a player that kicked 500+ in his career).
2010 was a bit better and he ended up with 8 goals across his 8 prelim and grand final appearances, never collecting 16 or more possessions in a game or kicking.more than 2 goals.
It's hard to narrow down. You need a solid sample size, good regular season form and a substantial drop off come Finals. Is somebody like Dangerfield an option because his standard has significantly dropped away in multiple Finals, or does BOG's in games like the 17 semi, 20 semi, 19 QF rule him out?
I reckon Mark Blicavs has a great argument. Keep in mind he's a 2 time B&F winner. Has 2 good Finals to his name, the 16QF and the 17SF, outside those 2 games he's had some absolute howlers, including Friday night and the 2020 GF. His Elimination Final against Melbourne (the year he won out B&F) was horrible. I don't think he's been in the best 20 players in any Final he's played outside the 2 I mentioned, and has been in the bottom 10 in at least 6 I can recall.
Is there any other multiple B&F winners with a similar record?
is this a lot of over reaction on bigfooty ??????Gary Rohan in finals:
21 games
14 goals
9 behinds
12/21 games with 0 goals.
Average of 0.67 goals per game as a pure forward.
188 disposals at an average of 8.95 per game.
13/21 with 9 or less disposals.
I can’t recall a player that’s consistently had that many bad finals across their career.
Pretty obvious there is a disadvantage to small forwards in finals, with the worst examples being Rohan, Davis, Milne, hell even Cyril in 2012 was pretty useless, with the lasting image of Jetta burning him off down the wing.
Rohan is probably worst of them because while positionally he's a small forward, he plays more like a leadup forward, not a crumbing forward.
They shifted him to full back, his disposals were kick outsIt’s a tad harsh on poor Gary. He did have 12 disposals after all, which is miles above his finals average.
Scored 0.0 however…….
So he played a poor finals game which was better than his usual shocking ones.
I can't think of too many finals where a small forward tore the game apart.

Essendon fans might be able to name a bloke after yesterday.
He’s the same height as fritsch and taller than petracca and dusty he’s just a spudPretty obvious there is a disadvantage to small forwards in finals, with the worst examples being Rohan, Davis, Milne, hell even Cyril in 2012 was pretty useless, with the lasting image of Jetta burning him off down the wing.

Surely Ratugolea comes in for Rohan this week?
Didn't Varcoe kick 3 goals on him?
No current season stats available
Nah Chad Fletcher has Danger covered3 way tie between Rohan, Leon Davis, Parrick Dangerfield
He's just not a very prolific player hands down. Add some finals pressure which always hurts small forwards and it's no surprise
