Too lazy to research - anyone tell me a little about Naish?
Age, playing position etc.
Being traded or delisted?
Delisted

Outside player, good runner, neat user, not very hard at it

Wing or flank

Has dominated VFL at times but hasn't got going at AFL level

We bidded on him in the 2nd round of the 2017 draft before we took Clav

My god made a bit of sense there. Not sure about midfield first class, need a bit of work before they are Melbourne or Bulldog good but over all not a bad assessment

Here is some goss and don't @ me just got PM'ed this:

Battle and a fourth rounder to Brisbane for pick 14 with a swap of future picks. Don't know all the details but thats what I was told. Is it true? Well it is the silly season, but take it for what it is.
This could be close
Lions would be looking closely at Battle. Need backup talls and want to win a flag, don’t need kids with their picks

Someone here said when he found out he was dropped he left training early and went to get a coffee…if that true he must be never allowed back into Moorabbin ever again

We need to know exactly which coffee first.

Thank you 😀
So would come cheap. Maybe we get him to train with us in the pre-season like Wood last year.

So basically we’re recruiting Jack Billings v2.0 on minimum salary without the bullshit hype of pick 3 in the draft…. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I could deal with that 👍🏼

To try and look at least somewhat normal compared to the frock that you were getting around in??

All good Dal, we've seen your set-up before. Nothing to hide anymore mate. Cheers

I can't see why we want Naish, Doesn't seem to get the hard ball or tackle not a tip rat what's his place in our team? Is it because he is cheap as a delisted free agent or are we hoping to improve our vfl team next year? If we are actually seriously looking at bringing in some young talent how about we look at Will Brodie a far better fit.

I don't see Brodie being a better fit.

Ratten has already talked about not being able to fit all our slower inside mids into the side so he'd be a depth player and he's on a pretty decent contract right now.

Naish obviously isn't a perfect fit either, but we've got to fill our vacant list spots and so far we have one good draft pick and a couple of NGA kids.

He's have to improve his hardness but I'm guessing we like his run as well as his versatility, being able to play off half back, wing or half forward.

Sounds more like another Hill

Well, if we pick him up at least he’ll fit right in with our other 2017 boys (Clark, Coffield, Paton, Higgins), the spots for the taking with Clav leaving.
Saw him on that video running fast through the centre, then putting a long pass on the chest of a forward. Puts him in front of a few others on our list.

At this stage, we don't have a heap of list spots empty. 6 from the main/rookie list moved on plus both Cat B spots.

Given the pick we drafted Sharman with a pick from moving someone to the LTI list, the should mean he takes a list spot for next year from someone delisted. Plus the AFL requirement to draft 3 players means we only have 2 free as it stands.

And we need to get a Key Defender and Back-up ruck in those spots before another outside mid.

5 are still OOC - Ross, Kent, Lonie, Hunter (R), Joyce (R) - so there are more spots that could open up over the new few weeks.
