Has gone down just as well as I thought with our geriatric supporters.

"aRe We tHe WhiTeS"
"wHo Do We cLaSh WiTh"

Though, this does show a bit of a disconnect with our fans if we're removing even more navy off the kit.
Staggering how many people in the comments think Carlton's home doesn't clash with anyone

That's cool. It also backs up what we were saying in another thread (?) about Indigenous design elements eventually becoming a part of full-time uniforms. It doesn't surprise me that Freo – with its strong history in that area – is first to take the lead.

Also, I know it's sacrilege to mix and match, but I really do think the white shorts with Freo's purple jumper is a cool look. I just hope they don't wear it against other teams that already have white in their home kit.

It doesn't over play it as well. It's sb element of the kit. Not the whole.design.

Oh you know they will.

I'm calling it again, Geelong and North are going to wear blue shorts in all home games this season.

New clash for collingwood? And with black shorts 🥰

It looks the same jumper as last year with KFC heat pressed over CGU

Yep, can tell by the way the light is reflecting off the KFC logos. Pretty keen for the new jumpers. Sorta pox that a club like Collingwood can still be using old stock for all the 2022 photo shoots. I wonder where the fault lies.

are we surprised with Nike?

They haven't been professional standard for years

I was gonna say Nike definitely , but as I was writing this I recall a couple of other occasions where we’ve been late to release our new jumpers. In 2009 we were still wearing Wizard in the NAB cup , and that was the year we changed sponsors to Aussie, and remember in 2014 it took Collingwood until like round 3 to change the colour of the CGU logo from blue to green. And 2009 was with adidas and 2014 was with Star

Re Wizard-Aussie:

Wizard became Aussie around Dec 08-Jan 09, I’m pretty sure it was some kind of buy out or name change. for me that’d explain the late change then having Aussie heat pressed over the top.

I try to forget that Star Athletic was a thing. From that to ISC to Nike dragging their heels around gee I've missed having Adidas around. It was perfect.

Absolutely. Adidas was perfect for Collingwood. Nike for me is the worst, even withstanding their slow, annoying and seemingly arrogant attitude, Nike just doesn't feel like Collingwood. I don't even like the look of the jumpers, the stripes for me are too thick but I'm not sure if I'm just seeing things

Hard to tell obviously with poor quality but looks a little like the white jumper doesn’t have the pin stripes? Such a minor detail though so maybe the camera just isn’t picking it up.

The club shop told me a few weeks ago that the 2022 range will be released mid-Feb. We have a family night next Friday I believe so would not be surprised if we get the new merch drop leading up to that. Only guess work of course.

And that was when their apparel provider was a company they were part owners in; Star Athletic.

PS Confirmed, it was Round 1 & 2 that the CGU logos were still Blue.
