Where are they hiding?Yes I know. All shapes and sizes, many women are well over 6, even 7 foot and bone structures vary
Actually, I like them both. I find my legs & feet function much better with both.Prefer ankles to knees
Yeah but if you could manage with 1 it’s one less injury to worry about. Even better if you had neither.Actually, I like them both. I find my legs & feet function much better with both.
We have a massive focus on injury prevention, particularly of soft tissue injuries. Both Daniher and Mccarthey have played almost every game since shifting to Brisbane despite not being able to get on the park at their previous clubs.
Throughout 2019 and 2020 Brisbane had virtually no injuries to their best 22. Last year they didn't do quite as well on the injury front but there is enough evidence over past years to suggest that they are doing something right and aren't just lucky.
1 to 2 weeks!Do you actually believe injury timelines that come out of the club ? … lol
Thanks for the update. I also don't recall seeing Dow in any of the highlights on the website. Did he play?Jack Martin didn’t participate in intraclub duties last week due to a heavy knock, but he will be fine.
Likely to play against Saints, if not, against Melbourne the following week.

That last sentence is really depressingWhen does the club start maintaining an official injury list again? Once the Ansett/NAB/Wizard/JLT/AAMI comp starts?
Martin - Soreness - 1-2 weeks
Stocker - Syndesmosis - early season
Docherty - Cancer/re-conditioning - early season
Cuningham - ACL - early-mid season
Marchbank - ACL - early-mid season
Walsh - Syndesmosis - early-mid season
McKay ???
Hopefully that is all currently?
Unfortunate we lost Walsh, but seems our best preseason for a while in terms of availability.
Player | Injury | Timeline |
---|---|---|
Sam Walsh | Ankle | Out for 1st month of season |
Josh Honey | Knee | Return 1st month of season |
Jack Carroll | Calf | Test to play next week |
Harry McKay | Foot | Test to play next week/Rd 1 |
TDK | Medical | Test to play next week |
Sam Docherty | Conditioning | Test to play next week |
Dom Akuei | Groin | Start of season |
Liam Stocker | Ankle | TBC at start of season |
Caleb Marchbank | Knee | Return to football Rounds 5-8 |
David Cuningham | Knee | Second half of season |
Because the season is still a month away and they don't know exactly when he'll be back. Why would stocker be down as TBC ?
