This is why the loss to Brisbane last week for my mob was so bad. It was Brisbane. They're such an average team. I haven't rated them for years. Tonight justifies it.
I think this comment it very unfair. They can’t be such an average team if they managed to get to a PF. Credit where credit’s due. Geelong are just very good. Brisbane played well last week. Give them some credit.

I love how the umps set the precedent early.

Lions lay 19 tackles in which a number could have been rewarded HTB and they end up with 0 HTB free kicks.

In Contrast, Geelong lay 16 tackles and get 4 free kicks, the umpires basically saying stick a tackle and we will give you the ball.

So we have a scenario where early in the game the umpires have set a precedent of:

Lions - you better move the ball immediately or we are going to ping you.

Geelong - You are immune to HTB

And we wonder why one team seems under pressure every time they get the ball?

And you should not have won the 1st week, stop blaming umpires.

Zorko you are a disgrace! If you can’t get a kick get a tackle, if you can’t tackle ; shepherd.Do the hard yards for the team!!
I am now officially on the “ I hate Geelong “ bandwagon. Carn the Swannies or Pies!

Agreed but would like to think the game would be alive at 3qt.

As for Brisbane I think they won’t recover from this. How often does a club get spanked in a final and then go backwards the next year.
They have some issues but they could be ok. What did Geelong's hopes look like last year after a horrible PF belting as a much older side?
