He was an arrogant and entitled prick. He would of still played for the crows afl side eventually. Just had to do it under our rules which was fair enough.

Why was it fair enough, when he was able to do better? Because the club said so?

Yeah you are on the money.
Whether it is cultural sensitivity or paranoia over white powder, we have not been hit hard by the media.

We cut a player who then goes on to be AA, plays in a Premiership and nearly win the Norm Smith.

We should be copping from the Crocmedia( Kano, Caro,Manure) triple threat.

Cause they know the strike rate. Geelong owns SEN.

Bruh, any other clubs would have fairly done the same. He was no Bailey Smith at that time.

His career was absolutely over. We can take it from the village jester. When he says something about what the other clubs thought you know it's a fact.

Tbh honest. When you heard of his last indiscretion, what did you think?
I thought geez that’s about done.

Seems like he would have given Stengle a 3rd, 4th, 5th......nth chance. I would really like him as my boss, very easy to gain his trust.
Well , I wasn’t asking you.
Im non caring of driving narrative. I’m more carefully trying to keep the space as open as possible.

Pretty stupid decision of him to not toil away for sub par pay so that our club's rotting aristocracy could decide he's able to ply his trade. There was no other way to gain respect as an AFL footballer.

If only he had an agent, one who could ask around the league to ascertain his status and the interest of what other clubs thought, before decided whether to bow and scrape to our bullshit offer

If he had that he might have found his way to a good club, a properly run and competent club

Why did St Kilda not keep Paddy McCartin on their list and support him through concussion issues?
Why did Carlton not keep Liam Jones on their list and support him through his vaccination stance?
Why do clubs not match restricted FA offers, e.g. Isaac Smith?

The list is endless where players are not the right fit for the club at the time, but may have success elsewhere.

Both McCartin & Jones opted to retire. Both for health & medical reasons - they couldn’t play!!!

And Isaac smith was 32 years old, he chose to go to a contending club

Bizarre examples

Probaly proof that his talent outweighs his bagage?
The decision at the time Without hindsight in your opinion is the same as mine. Let him go.
