Real or photoshopped?
Highly doubt a journo would photoshop it.

There's photoshoped ambulances out there from Code Red with Dan Andrews name on them, so wouldn't be surprised if it's photoshopped.
It's a journo, who knows how thoroughly they checked the source or if they were more concerned about getting the scoop. Unless they took the picture.
As much as I dislike him, it’s a nation wide issue, not just Victoria. Something needs to be done for the country as a whole.
Australians are too busy expanding their property portfolios to be bothered with the petty task of working for a living.stop brining in workers from overseas and try and get more australians into jobs like these?
same with hospitality, industry was happy to pay peanuts (and cash) for cheap labour (international students and foreigners for example) until the workers all went home during covid. Now they complain they cant get workers because Australians want to be paid on the books, with super and at a decent rate.
Is it a state issue that our hospitals are chock full of the elderly because nursing homes don't have nurses anymore?Remembering its a State issue, as is energy.

Is it a state issue that you cannot get in to see a GP, that bulk billing is increasingly becoming non existent and therefore half the GP workload is being shifted onto emergency departments?
Do you even know what ramping is? You could have a thousand more ambulances. That would simply mean another 1000 with a patient in the back waiting for a bed.
really
energy is a state issue
so there is no energy grid or market that links multiple states together
no national regulator
we're all isolated from each other are we
Energy is an everyone issue, and this was a deliberate move by jurisdictions of all areas and persuasions to obfuscate responsibility. It's not a federal regulator, it's a national regulator - the jurisdictions agreeing to hand over power to a central regulator.
Did that power include responsibility ?
Probably, but to whom is the regulator responsible?
The more layers between the regulator and the people, the more the responsibility is diminished.
Spot on & here in Vic, the assets were privatised, the responsibility was sold.
This is not far off
