Hall of Famer
Fair enough.Spot on. His play, being the first ever JHF. That's what's exciting. Good signs early and a long way to go.
The preceding comments were about comparisons, which is inevitable when a young star blossoms

True. There is always an obsession with size in the modern game too. When it translates to strength, physicality, burst of speed etc - that's the real good stuff. And there's plenty JHF has done play wise for that to be the focus.Fair enough.

Che? Not sure how having a fantastic bunch like that precludes that. Pretty good bunch to build on in order to win a flag at some point, I’d have thought. Good luck to them. Well, not next week though.I'd prefer winning premierships...but I'm old fashioned like that.

Also in every sport the comparisons almost denigrate that player becoming the best of whatever they are, not "the next". Just a personal gripe.
I was thinking no way 50 for Tyson but forgot we are his 3rd club.Mark O'Connor - 100 games
Tyson Stengle - 50 games.
Holmes I thinkWho are we expecting back from our injury list for this game.....Duncan and Danger?
Anyone else?
Holmes I think
Scott said all of Duncan, Danger and Holmes would play. It's not like him to make such clear statements on anything let alone injuries. Given that I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get up.Would love that, but I'm thinking we won't see him until the following week, though I don't have a particularly solid reason for that, other than the vibe from the injury reports

GAS was 185, 90 at the same age. JHF is larger
Very formidable midfield group building over there, no doubt. And imagine being able to look forward to having them run around for you for the next 10 years!
Thought CS said in his last presser Holmes would get up. Esava, no. Menegola, who knows.Bowes is available after a vfl game. Holmes might be close.
Sounds like sav is at least a week or two away.
Be nice!Very formidable midfield group building over there, no doubt.
Hopefully our next posse of really talented tyros is just a couple of years behind on the development arc.

I wouldn't think so in a game where at least 2 and very possibly all 3 of Danger, Duncan and Holmes return. Is Mitch Hardie any chance?
Early days, but then he's on a very short contract too.
JHF definitely reminds me of Dangerfield with how explosive he can be. (Not the Adelaide version he butchered it non stop) Geelong actually turned him into a gun. He's building into being a very good player indeed.
