Yeah it’s pretty disgraceful to pull it out now. This win means nothing because it was our senior players that got us over the line and it’ll be the same story again next year. Sitting through that season to finish second last just feels empty

The real problem is that if the Eagles were inclined to not select Reid, that pick had an enormous amount of value and they could have turned it into probably three early picks and possibly a good young player or two. The drop off in value from 1 to 2 this year is quite large, certainly large enough that winning today is a big-time negative for the club.

Possible loss of potential V a marginally reduced potential weighted against the lift in spirit amongst a very young list. Take the spirit every time.

Gov fit again and who criticises the Kelly trade?. Kids can have confidence in our leaders.
